Helping businesses
navigate sustainability

Sustainability has become a business requirement, driven by customer expectations, procurement standards and reporting obligations.

ENSO was created to close the gap between sustainability best practice and everyday business reality. Many businesses are now expected to respond to supply chain sustainability data requests, meet environmental and social criteria in tenders and RFPs and demonstrate credible progress to customers and investors.

At the same time, responsibility for sustainability often sits with people who already have full workloads and limited specialist support. ENSO helps businesses make sustainability manageable, relevant and commercially useful.

Shaped by practical experience

ENSO has been shaped through direct work with businesses navigating sustainability for the first time as well as those building on existing activity. Through this work, we saw that progress stalled when sustainability felt technical, disconnected from business goals or overwhelming to take on alongside day-to-day responsibilities.

ENSO was built to provide structure, clarity and momentum, helping teams focus on what matters most and take action in a way that is achievable and commercially relevant.

The ENSO team

ENSO is led by a focused team with a background in sustainability strategy, regulatory alignment and business operations. Our work is shaped by direct experience supporting businesses as sustainability expectations increase across supply chains, procurement processes and reporting requirements. This perspective informs the structure of the ENSO platform and how we approach sustainability in practice.

How we approach sustainability

ENSO’s approach to sustainability is built around structure, prioritisation and progress over time. The ESG Wheel reflects how sustainability is organised into clear focus areas that support decision-making, action and communication without overwhelming teams.

Rather than treating ESG as a one-off reporting exercise, this approach helps businesses focus on what matters most, take meaningful action and communicate progress clearly to customers, partners and stakeholders.

Sustainability at ENSO

Sustainability at ENSO is treated as an ongoing operational responsibility rather than a one-off exercise. Clear ownership is defined internally, actions are tracked over time and progress is reviewed to ensure commitments translate into credible, measurable outcomes.

ENSO is a certified B Corp, reflecting our commitment to responsible and transparent business practices. We view this as a baseline and continue to strengthen governance, accountability and sustainability performance across the business using the same tools and frameworks we support our customers to adopt.

Our public sustainability page is generated through the ENSO platform and demonstrates this approach in practice. It brings together commitments, actions and progress in a clear, structured format that can be shared confidently with customers, partners and stakeholders.
